Vi blev nyfikna på det draget från Göteborgs Hamn att gå in som delägare i projekt Västvind, en havsbaserad vindkraftpark med en maxeffekt på 1000 MW. Eolus är huvudägare och ett företag som satsar på förnyelsebar produktion på flera ställen i Sverige och i andra länder. Frågan om Göteborgs springande effektbehov i och med industrins elektrifiering är lika välkänd som akut. Samtidigt har det varit mycket debatt bland närboende om projektet som delvis ligger inom kommunens rätt att åberopa veto kring. Hur tacklar Göteborg en sådan uppgift: ny produktion är alldeles avgörande för jobbet och ekonomin, men det ligger i en annans kommuns händer att säga ja eller nej.
