Mapping of the urban planning process, Strängnäs municipality

Sigholm is running a project to map the urban planning process for Strängnäs municipality. It is a complex process that includes many different municipal departments, competences, functions and roles. The goal is to develop and improve the existing process and working methods to make the municipality's projects more sustainable from environmental, social and economic perspectives. The first phase of the project included the development of the current situation, new situation, GAP analysis and improvement proposals. During the ongoing phase, the measures are implemented and finally there is follow-up and possible iteration of the problem-solving process, if the target image is not reached.
